Working page
What we need from you
Everything still open, in one place, so we can clear it on the call rather than over email. Nothing here is a problem. Most of it is a decision only you can make.
A working page, linked quietly from the footer. It comes down at go-live.

Pointing crisfieldgroup.com at the new site
We looked this up so you do not have to. Your domain currently answers to Wix, whatever it says on the registration, so the change happens inside your Wix dashboard under Domains, then DNS Records.
Two records change. Everything else stays exactly as it is.

The A record replaces the three Wix addresses currently there, which begin
185.230.63. The CNAME replaces whatever www points at now.
Do not touch these. This is your email.
Your mail runs on Google Workspace, and it is configured through DNS records that sit alongside the website ones. Deleting or editing them stops mail reaching steve@crisfieldgroup.com. Nothing we are doing to the website requires changing them.

How long it takes
Usually minutes, sometimes an hour or two. Occasionally a stubborn network takes up to a day to catch up. Your current site keeps working the entire time, and visitors move across as their connections notice the change. There is no moment where the site is down.
We watch it from our side and confirm when it has gone through everywhere. If anything looks wrong we can put the old records back in under a minute.

The client logo wall
You said you were not sure what we meant here, so plainly: the homepage carries a row of client logos, currently fourteen of them, taken from your existing site.
Four organizations appear in your testimonials but are not on that row. Should we add them?
- Viedoc
- The Ayers Group
- Pacira BioSciences
- Advanced Health Media
Add all four, add some, or leave the row as it is.
03
Three things you said you would send
You answered “I can update this”. We removed the old descriptors rather than repeat a $400 Billion figure that no pharmaceutical company matches. Send the corrected ones and they go straight back in.
You mentioned a possible alternative for one or more of the inside pages. Send it whenever and we will place it.
You said you would reorder the credential list on the About page live. We can do that together on the call in about a minute.

Keeping the site running
Once we point crisfieldgroup.com at the new site, it needs somewhere to live and somebody looking after it. That is fifty dollars a month, and here is exactly what it covers so there are no surprises.
- Hosting on a global network, so the site loads quickly wherever someone opens it
- SSL certificate kept current, so the padlock never lapses and browsers never warn anyone off
- Daily backups, with the ability to roll back to any previous day
- Security patching and uptime monitoring, so problems get found before your clients find them
- The enquiry form kept running and delivering to your inbox
- Two small updates a month. A new testimonial, a change of wording, a swapped photograph, another book on the reading list. Send them whenever and we make the change
Month to month, no minimum term, cancel whenever you like. Anything bigger than a small update gets quoted before we start, so nothing ever appears on an invoice you did not agree to.
That is everything.
Four items, and most of them are a sentence each. Once these are settled the only thing left is pointing the domain at the new site.
